The late voice actor voices two new Springfield characters, Mr. Fong and Harry Metsali, in the episode Dream Scenari-Moe.
Eric Bauza will appear posthumously in an episode of The Simpsons titled Dream Scenari-Moe, which premieres on Fox on November 15, 2026, according to comingsoon.net. In the episode, the late voice actor plays two new Springfield characters.
Co-executive producer Cesar Mazariegos revealed the dual roles: Bauza voices Mr. Fong, a restaurateur, and Harry Metsali, a newspaper editor. Bauza recorded two separate sessions for the performance.
The show's team also learned something about Bauza's background through a tradition of its own. After he signed the show's Wall of Fame, he drew a Bugs Bunny on it — the moment the staff realised he had begun his career as an animator.
