New York Comic-Con panel confirms a one-hour Halloween special for Ghosts Season 6, with the show's 100th episode arriving when weekly episodes return in early 2027.
CBS's Ghosts will return for Season 6 with its first one-hour Halloween special on October 29, cast members and co-showrunner Joe Wiseman revealed during a New York Comic-Con panel, according to Collider. The panel included Devan Chandler Long, Rebecca Wisocky, Sheila Carrasco and Utkarsh Ambudkar.
Audiences at the panel saw a first glimpse of the Halloween special, which introduces Margaret, the mustachioed sister of Hetty, played by Maria Thayer. The special reunites Hetty, played by Wisocky, with her sister.
100th episode details
Season 6, Episode 6 will mark the show's 100th episode, airing when weekly episodes return in early 2027. In that episode, the ghosts' favorite reality series, 'It's Getting Hot in Here,' films its own 100th episode at the mansion.
Earlier this month, the first synopsis for the Halloween special revealed that Hetty is unexpectedly reunited with Margaret. Rose McIver, who plays Sam, recently said fans will have to wait longer to see Sam back at Woodstone while McIver is on maternity leave, with Sam away from the mansion to film her 'Polar Opposites' movie in Australia. Season 5 ended with dangling threads, including Flower's lucidity.
