Banger Films' debut animated series Gone to Hell premieres on the BangerTV YouTube channel October 30, with a trailer now out.
Banger Films is heading into animation. The production company announced that its first animated series, Gone to Hell, will debut on the BangerTV YouTube channel on October 30.
The eight-episode series is set in 1994 and follows a rock band that gets sent to Hell after being crushed by its own stage mascot. A trailer for the show has already been released.
Brian Peco and Craig Mailman are the co-creators. Banger Films is producing with support from the Independent Production Fund, Canada Media Fund and Ontario Creates, and Robin Hatch composed the music.
The voice cast includes Paul Spence, Chris Locke, Derrick Beckles, Jackie Pirico and Kevin Morgan.
Banger Films is known for music and pop culture programs and films such as the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning Hip-Hop Evolution, Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage and Metal: A Headbanger's Journey. Deadline reported the announcement.
