Good Partner 2 Unveils Rival Stills of Jang Nara and Park Hae-jin Ahead of November 20 Premiere
SBS's legal drama Good Partner 2 pits Jang Nara's Cha Eun-kyung against Park Hae-jin's Park Tae-soo, whose firm opens one floor above hers.
SBS's new drama Good Partner 2 has released rival still photos showing Cha Eun-kyung, played by Jang Nara, and Park Tae-soo, played by Park Hae-jin, facing each other, according to cinemacafe.net. The drama premieres on November 20.
In the new season, Cha Eun-kyung leads Law Firm Libeom, while Park Tae-soo heads Law Firm Taesu. The two firms are stacked vertically: Law Firm Taesu moves into the 8th floor, directly above Law Firm Libeom's 7th-floor office across from the courthouse. Eun-kyung visits Tae-soo after his firm opens upstairs.
The lawyers also find themselves competing over recruiting Kang Hae-sun, played by Kim Hye-yoon, who belongs to Law Firm Haru.
Director Seo Min-jung said Eun-kyung and Tae-soo were classmates at university and are rival lawyers working on floors above and below each other. Choi Yuna, a divorce lawyer-turned-writer, wrote the script, with Seo Min-jung directing.
A second teaser released earlier had already hinted at the rivalry between the two characters, and Park Hae-jin joins Good Partner 2 in his return to drama about three years after the previous season.
