The Hollywood Reporter presented its Trailblazer Award in Korea for the first time, honoring Han Ji-min during American Film Night at the Busan International Film Festival.
Han Ji-min received The Hollywood Reporter's Trailblazer Award at a gala in Busan on Wednesday. The presentation took place during American Film Night, a collaboration between The Hollywood Reporter and the Motion Picture Association, on the 33rd floor of the Park Hyatt Busan.
It was the first time The Hollywood Reporter has presented its Trailblazer Award in Korea, according to the outlet. The event was held alongside the Busan International Film Festival.
Han is set to appear alongside Lee Byung-hun in The Koreans, a Disney+ reimagining of The Americans. Past recipients of the Trailblazer Award include Jean Smart, David Oyelowo, Eva Longoria, Matt Bomer, America Ferrera, Tadanobu Asano and Takehiro Hira.
The original series The Americans won the Golden Globe for best drama in 2019. Han first became a fan favorite in Korea with the revenge drama Resurrection in 2005, and went on to star in Yi San from 2007 to 2008, Rooftop Prince in 2012, Our Blues in 2022 and Love Scout in 2025. She earned best actress honors at the 2018 Blue Dragon Film Awards and the 2019 Baeksang Arts Awards for her performance in Miss Baek in 2018.
