Kim Da-min reveals 180-degree rotating set for 꿀알바 milk-delivery scene

Director Kim Da-min said the milk-delivery part-time job in episode 3 of the Netflix series 꿀알바 was the hardest location to realize, speaking in an interview in Seoul on November 5 alongside planning head Han Jun-hee, according to joynews24.com. Kim said the scene was built with a set that rotates 180 degrees, and that its one-take action was possible because actor Lee Jae-wook took it on.

Han said Lee kept his promise to run and roll on cue through the final episode. Kim also said Lee added the convenience-store “beep error” moment as an ad-lib.

꿀알바 was released on Netflix on October 30. Within three days of release, it recorded 5,000,000 viewing hours and reached No. 4 on the global Top 10 non-English shows chart.

Kim had earlier said that Lee created the scene in episode 1 where the main character, Hyeok-jun, drools while dozing at a bus stop.
