Hulu Adds Greg Daniels Sci-Fi Comedy Upload to Its Catalog
The series, which stars Robbie Amell as Nathan Brown, is set in a future where minds can be uploaded to a virtual afterlife called Lakeview.
Hulu has added Upload, the sci-fi comedy series created by Greg Daniels, to its catalog. The show, which originally ran from 2020 through 2025, is now available on the platform.
Upload stars Robbie Amell as Nathan Brown, Andy Allo as Nora Antony and Allegra Edwards as Ingrid Kannerman. Set in the near future, the series imagines a world in which human consciousness can be uploaded into a virtual afterlife called Lakeview.
Daniels, also known for his work on The Office, previously told Collider in 2020 that he had worked on the idea of Upload for 30 years, revisiting it as a sketch, a book and eventually a series.
The premise echoes earlier screen depictions of digital afterlives, including Black Mirror's 2016 episode San Junipero, which starred Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis.
