Real-Gem Infinity Gauntlet Replica to Be Auctioned in Abu Dhabi

Julien's Auctions and East Continental Gems will sell the one-of-one Avengers: Endgame gauntlet on December 8 at Rosewood Abu Dhabi.

Julien's Auctions and East Continental Gems have announced that a one-of-one replica of the Infinity Gauntlet from Avengers: Endgame will go under the hammer on December 8 at Rosewood Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island, according to comingsoon.net.

The piece stands nearly 20 inches tall and replaces the fictional Infinity Stones with real gemstones: a ruby, garnet, sapphire, amethyst, emerald and yellow diamond. Together the six stones weigh more than 170 carats.

Bidding will be open in person, by phone and by absentee bid. Prospective buyers must receive pre-approval from Julien's Auctions before taking part.

The auction house has not announced an estimate for the sale. The replica was previously valued at $25 million.

An emerald with a history

The gauntlet was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022. The emerald used for the Time Stone was discovered more than a century ago, and East Continental Gems held it for over 30 years before placing it in the replica.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the gauntlet is the weapon Thanos uses in Avengers: Infinity War to wipe out half of all life.
