Huppert Confirms Dario Argento Film at Busan

Isabelle Huppert said at a Busan press conference that she will appear in a film by Dario Argento, and that her performance is really her, not AI.

Isabelle Huppert confirmed at a press conference at the Busan International Film Festival that she will appear in an upcoming film by Dario Argento, according to Variety. No title or release date for the project was announced.

Huppert was in Busan for All About Corinne, directed by Marc Fitoussi, which is screening in the festival's Gala Presentation section. At the same event, she said she has not yet been replaced by AI and that it is really her acting on screen.

Fitoussi said All About Corinne will open in South Korea next spring. The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and is his fourth collaboration with Huppert; he first explored the world of film extras in a 2008 documentary, Des Figurants.

The trip marks Huppert's third visit to Busan and Fitoussi's first to Korea. Huppert, who has appeared in three films by Hong Sang-soo, was elected this year as the first female president of the Cinémathèque Française.
