Jack O'Connell to Play Emmett's Brother in A Quiet Place Part III

Jack O'Connell will play Emmett's brother in A Quiet Place Part III, sharing the screen with Cillian Murphy, who returns as Emmett. O'Connell disclosed the casting in an interview with Collider.

According to the same interview, O'Connell's character has a story that is intertwined with Murphy's Emmett in the third film. Murphy first appeared as Emmett in A Quiet Place Part II.

A Quiet Place Part III is scheduled to debut in 2027.

Both actors have recent franchise roles

O'Connell played Jimmy, the central antagonist of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, who appears to die at the end of the film. That instalment was the lowest-grossing movie in the 28 Days Later series so far, though it received solid reviews.

The ending of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple shows Murphy's Jim returning in the final scenes to set up 28 Years Later 3. Complications around filming appear to have pushed back production of that film.
