Jack'd is launching the inaugural Jack'd Film Festival, a showcase and competition for original films by queer creators, with a focus on queer people of color. The announcement was made by the company.
The festival will be judged by TS Madison, Miss Lawrence, Bobby Ashley, Mike Gauyo and Dyllón Burnside. The grand jury award and audience choice award winners will each receive $10,000.
Films must be submitted online by 5 p.m. PT on Oct. 21. Selected entries will be available only to Jack'd app users from Monday, Nov. 2, through Dec. 3. Jack'd members can vote in-app for the Audience Choice Award.
