Jaime Pressly Backs Mom Cast After Chuck Lorre's Memoir Remarks

Pressly called her Mom co-stars an incredible cast of women, two days after Anna Faris responded on Instagram to Lorre's memoir comments.

Jaime Pressly defended her Mom co-stars on Saturday, calling them an incredible cast of women after Chuck Lorre's critical remarks about Anna Faris in his memoir, according to Deadline.

Pressly, who played Jill Kendall on the CBS sitcom, said she worked seven seasons on the show and joined in its second season.

Her comments follow a response from Faris, who addressed Lorre's remarks on Instagram on Thursday. In his memoir Sitcom, Lorre wrote of his initial reluctance to hire Faris, saying that reluctance was in fact correct.

The series premiered in 2013, with Faris starring for its first seven seasons as Christy, a recovering alcoholic whose mother Bonnie, played by Allison Janney, moves in with her. Faris left Mom in 2020, and Janney led the eighth and final season, which ended in 2021.
