Jennifer Lawrence has said she will not return to play Mystique in the X-Men films, according to gizmodo.com. Asked about a possible comeback, the actress replied: "Never say never, but absolutely fucking not."
Lawrence described the physical toll of the role, saying her X-Men: First Class makeup preparation involved eight hours of blue body paint each time.
Rebecca Romijn, who played Mystique in the earlier X-Men films, is returning as the character in Avengers: Doomsday.
