Biel says son Silas has small role in Matchbox: The Movie
Jessica Biel told the Great Chat Show that producer Jules Daly offered her son the part, and that he has to earn acting work.
Jessica Biel said her son Silas Timberlake appears in a small role at the end of Matchbox: The Movie, according to hollywoodreporter.com. Biel discussed the part during an appearance on the Great Chat Show.
Biel said producer Jules Daly asked whether Silas would want the role. She described it as not a big speaking part, adding that she would not have allowed a large monologue.
She also said Silas did not work on his first day on set and was upset about it, then worked the following day. Biel framed the role as something he must earn rather than be handed, saying he must earn acting opportunities.
Biel stars in the film. She and Justin Timberlake married in 2012 and welcomed Silas in 2015; their second child, Phineas, was born in 2020.
