John C. Reilly to Lead Jury at 62nd Chicago International Film Festival

John C. Reilly will head the international competition jury at the 62nd Chicago International Film Festival, joined by four other jurors.

John C. Reilly will serve on the international competition jury at the 62nd Chicago International Film Festival, the festival announced. He leads a five-person panel that will award the Gold Hugo for best film and Silver Hugos for directing, acting, cinematography and screenwriting.

The other international competition jurors are Carolina Cavalli, Davy Chou, Ildikó Enyedi and Henk Handloegten.

The festival also announced juries for its New Directors, Documentary, OutLook, Chicago Award and short film competitions.

The 62nd Chicago International Film Festival runs Oct. 14-25. It is presented by the nonprofit Cinema/Chicago.

The festival will host its fourth annual International Contenders Panel on Oct. 17, moderated by Seth Abramovitch.

Background

In October 2025, Cavalli's The Kidnapping of Arabella screened at last year's festival. Enyedi's most recent film is Silent Friend. Handloegten is a Babylon Berlin showrunner and screenwriter of this year's festival selection Fatherland. Stephen Winter's debut feature Chocolate Babies will receive a 30th anniversary retrospective screening during the festival.
