Josh Brolin Says He's Glad Cable Stayed in Deadpool 2
Speaking at New York Comic Con, the actor also said Thanos was a role he had a lot of fun playing, but Marvel has not confirmed any return.
Josh Brolin said he is glad that his run as Cable stayed contained to Deadpool 2, while speaking warmly about his time as Thanos, according to comingsoon.net. The actor made the comments while promoting Whalefall at New York Comic Con.
Brolin described Thanos as a very interesting role that he had a lot of fun doing. He also said he was glad Deadpool 2 happened and that Cable was isolated to that experience.
The remarks came as Brolin discussed the possibility of returning to either Marvel role. Marvel has not confirmed that Thanos will appear in Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.
Avengers: Doomsday, directed by the Russo Brothers, is scheduled to release on December 18, 2026.
