Jumanji: Open World unveils Japanese poster and 60-second trailer
The new preview shows game animals and characters loose in a snowy city, ahead of the film's December 25 Japan release.
A Japanese poster and a 60-second trailer for "Jumanji: Open World" have been released, according to cinemacafe.net. The film stars Dwayne Johnson and opens nationwide in Japan on Friday, December 25.
This time the premise is reversed: instead of young players entering the game world, animals and game characters are transported into the real world and run wild.
The Japanese poster shows a giraffe emerging from a manhole on a snowy city street lined with Christmas illuminations. It features Dr. Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson), Professor Shelly Oberon (Jack Black), Franklin "Moose" Finbar (Kevin Hart) and Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan).
The 60-second trailer shows characters and animals from the game appearing in the real world and causing chaos in the city, and includes a body-switch scene in which a mother becomes muscular.
The new film follows "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" and "Jumanji: The Next Level", which were worldwide hits.
