Ahead of the opening, the outlet published interview comments from the director and new making-of photos from the set.
The photos show Kim with cast members Choi Woo-shik, Gong Seung-yeon and Jang Hye-jin. Choi plays Ha-min, Gong plays Ryo-eun and Jang plays the mother. The release marks the first collaboration between Kim and Choi in 12 years, since the 2014 film known in Japan as 'Seinaru Negai'.
In the interview, Kim discussed the line 'Don't think you're the most pitiful person in the world,' which also appears in the 2014 film and was added to this one as a nod to that earlier role.
