Landman fans will have to wait longer than expected for the show's return. Season 3 of the Taylor Sheridan series will not begin streaming until sometime in 2027, according to Collider.
Production on the new season was originally scheduled to begin earlier this year, but has been pushed back to September. The delay extends the gap between seasons for the Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter-led drama.
Landman Season 1 debuted at the end of 2024, and Season 2 returned almost exactly one year later. The upcoming season will break that annual rhythm.
The holdup comes as Sheridan's plate continues to fill. He has expanded the Yellowstone universe with the spin-offs Dutton Ranch and Marshals, both of which have been renewed for new seasons. He is also writing screenplays for F.A.S.T. and Call of Duty, though he declined to direct either project.
Sheridan is working with director Peter Berg on Call of Duty and Ben Richardson on F.A.S.T.
