Lindelof: Lanterns Season 2 Could Follow WandaVision Model
Damon Lindelof said a younger Hal Jordan exists in a past version of the DCU, leaving room for Kyle Chandler's character to return in a different form.
Damon Lindelof has suggested that Lanterns Season 2 could bring Kyle Chandler's Hal Jordan back to the DCU by following the model set by WandaVision, rather than a conventional second season. Lindelof made the remarks in an interview with The Daily Beast.
Lindelof said a younger version of Hal Jordan still exists in a past version of the DCU. He explained that James Gunn's vision for the franchise includes superheroes and extraterrestrial beings going back decades, which allows stories to be told at any point in that space.
He pointed to WandaVision as a template for continuing a character's story without a traditional second season. Lindelof also said Aaron Pierre is appearing in Man of Tomorrow.
Lanterns Season 1 ended with its eighth and final episode. Season 2 has not been officially confirmed yet.
