Line of Duty: Operation Echo immersive experience set for London in 2027
Line of Duty: Operation Echo will send teams of 2-8 players on a 2-to-3-hour walkable investigation through London, alongside the series' return.
An immersive experience titled Line of Duty: Operation Echo has been confirmed for London in 2027, arriving alongside the return of the Line of Duty series, according to Collider.
The experience places teams of 2 to 8 players inside a 2-to-3-hour, 4-to-5-kilometre walkable investigation through London's streets. Participants assist AC-12 in piecing a corruption case together, moving through cafés, pubs, alleys and landmarks.
The project was announced as the franchise prepares to come back to screens. In 2021, Line of Duty aired a controversial final installment after which the show had supposedly come to an end. Earlier in 2026, it was confirmed that the series will return, with the AC-12 team having been disbanded and rebranded as the Inspectorate of Police Standards.
Line of Duty was created by Jed Mercurio, whose other credits include Bodyguard. The series centres on the fictional anti-corruption unit AC-12, with Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure among its cast members.
