Peter Safran Confirms Mason Thames as Dick Grayson in Dynamic Duo

DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran has confirmed that Mason Thames will voice Dick Grayson in the animated movie Dynamic Duo, according to screenrant.com. The character is the first Robin and later becomes Nightwing.
Safran said Thames actively pursued the role and impressed DC Studios during his audition. He added that the studio prefers people who volunteer for parts rather than being recruited for them.
Dynamic Duo centers on the two Robins, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. In September, The Wrap reported that Thames and Logan Kim had been cast as Grayson and Todd, respectively.
Separate from the DCU Batman film
When DC Studios unveiled its DCU Chapter One slate in 2023, it included The Brave and the Bold, a film about Bruce Wayne and his son Damian. James Gunn has confirmed that other members of the Bat-Family will appear in that DCU Batman movie.
The DCU's final film of 2026 is Clayface. Robert Pattinson's Batman, meanwhile, will not cross over into the DCU.
