The film follows a young woman assisting a complicated director on a French production of Joan of Arc. Mintz will produce alongside Shuli Harel and Jeff David.
Mintz's previous film was Good Girl Jane.
Apatow's directorial debut, Poetic License, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival; Sony Pictures Classics acquired it and will release it next spring. She starred as Lexi Howard on HBO's Euphoria, which recently concluded its three-season run.
Faist starred in the Netflix limited series East of Eden, which debuted last week.
