Mckenna Grace Says Playing Gwen Stacy Would Be a Dream
Asked on the red carpet about fan-casting for Gwen Stacy in a live-action Spider-Man film, Mckenna Grace said the role would be a dream.
Mckenna Grace said she would consider playing Gwen Stacy in a live-action Spider-Man movie, according to an interview conducted on the red carpet by content creator Sami Haidary and reported by comingsoon.net.
Grace said she feels fan-casting never comes true, but then added that taking on the role would be a dream.
Marvel Studios has not officially announced plans to introduce Gwen Stacy into Spider-Man's ongoing storyline, so the comments remain a hypothetical rather than a confirmed casting.

A role with history
In the original Marvel comics, Gwen Stacy is one of Peter Parker's most significant relationships, and she has been played on screen before: Emma Stone took the part opposite Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. An alternate-universe version with spider powers, Spider-Gwen, appeared in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld in both films.
