Mckenna Grace Says She Turns Down Nudity and Sexualized Roles

The actor told Cosmopolitan that she avoids explicit material because she still hopes to play a Disney princess one day.

Mckenna Grace said she turns down roles that involve nudity or highly sexualized content, telling Cosmopolitan that she hopes to play a Disney princess someday.

In the interview, the actor linked her choices to that ambition, saying her goal is to one day appear as a Disney princess.

Grace also discussed her upcoming projects. She said she plays Maysilee Donner in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which is set to open in theaters on November 20.

She is also starring as Daphne in Netflix's live-action Scooby-Doo reboot series. And she said her character in Scream 7 is killed by Ghostface.

Other actors draw their own lines

Grace is not the only performer to set limits on screen material. In September, Amanda Seyfried said at the Hamptons International Film Festival that she no longer wants roles requiring sex scenes. And in 2007, Amy Adams played Giselle in Disney's Enchanted; Andy Samberg later recounted on a podcast that Adams declined a raunchy SNL sketch to protect her Enchanted image. Adams returned as Giselle in the 2022 sequel Disenchanted.
