New set photos and videos show Michael B. Jordan on the Miami set of Miami Vice '85, the film in which he plays Ricardo Tubbs, according to screenrant.com. In the images, Jordan wears a grey suit with a black shirt and holds a pistol.
Jordan stars opposite Austin Butler, who plays Sonny Crockett. Joseph Kosinski directs the film. The cast also includes John Leguizamo, Walton Goggins, Whitney Peak, Alden Ehrenreich, Camila Morrone and Danny Ramirez.
No plot details have been revealed so far. Earlier set photos had already shown Leguizamo and Goggins on the production.
Origins of the franchise
The Miami Vice franchise began in 1984 with creator Anthony Yerkovich, starring Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Ricardo Tubbs. A feature film adaptation directed by Michael Mann was released in 2006, starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.
