Prime Video has renewed the Mexican YA series No One Will Miss Us for a third season, with production set to begin in early 2027.
Prime Video has handed a third-season renewal to its Mexican YA series No One Will Miss Us (Nadie Nos Va a Extrañar). The announcement came at the IberSeries event in Madrid, where Mexico is the country of honor.
Camila Misas, Head of Local Originals, Mexico, for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, confirmed the renewal during an Amazon MGM Studios panel. Cast members shared the news on social media after it was made official.
Production on Season 3 is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027. Samuel Kishi will direct, Silvana Aguirre will serve as showrunner, and Adriana Pelusi and Gibrán Portela will write the scripts.
A growing run for the series
The show was first announced in 2024, per Deadline's scoop at the time, and a second season was announced last year. It has appeared in Prime Video's top ten for Mexico.
The Immigrant is the production label founded in 2019 by former Univision executive Camila Jiménez-Villa and El Chapo creator Silvana Aguirre, and is minority-backed by Fremantle.
