Nocturne, Starring Stephen Graham, Premieres on Apple TV+ October 30, 2026

Apple TV+ has announced that its ten-episode crime drama Nocturne will premiere on October 30, 2026, according to screenrant.com. The series is based on Lars Kepler's Joona Linna books The Sandman and Lazarus.

Stephen Graham plays Jurek Walter, an incarcerated serial killer, while Liev Schreiber stars as Detective Jonah Lynn. Zazie Beetz plays Saga Bauer, who goes undercover in the cell next to Walter.

The Joona Linna book series, written by the Swedish husband-and-wife duo under the pen name Lars Kepler, has sold 15 million copies in 40 languages to date.

Graham's past credits include This Is England, Time and Adolescence. Schreiber is known for playing the title role in Ray Donovan, and Beetz earned an Emmy nomination for her role as Van in Atlanta and appeared in Deadpool 2 and Joker.

The series arrives after Mindhunter was canceled early, leaving a gap for a dark serial-killer TV series.
