This year's lineup leans heavily on documentary premieres. Jonathan Glazer, Paul Thomas Anderson and DuVernay will all world premiere new nonfiction work at the festival, while You Can See Everything — an Elizabeth Holmes documentary from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim — arrives after a secret screening at Telluride. NAZA, directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, world premiered in Venice.
Among the fiction titles drawing attention is Godzilla Minus Zero, directed by Takashi Yamazaki. Also on the slate is Artificial, Luca Guadagnino's Sam Altman biopic, which Neon acquired global rights to in June after Amazon dropped the project following its investment in OpenAI.
