Oxygen True Crime has greenlit a 90-minute documentary on the Ohio case of 16 children found in a 12x12 room, plus a ten-part companion podcast.
Oxygen has greenlit a feature-length documentary titled The Siders 16: Ohio House of Horrors (working title), the network announced. The 90-minute film will premiere later this year on Oxygen True Crime.
The documentary examines the case of 16 children found living in a 12x12 room in rural Ohio in June. Their parents and grandparents were arrested and charged with multiple counts of endangering children.
In August, Gary Siders Jr. and Elizabeth Siders were also charged with allegations of child sexual abuse in a separate case.
The film is produced by KT Studios, the company behind Amazon's Murder 101 and Peacock's The Idaho Student Murders. KT Studios founder Stephanie Lydecker directs and executive produces with Kevin Brennecke.
Alongside the documentary, Oxygen will launch a ten-part companion podcast series available on major podcast platforms and Oxygen's digital platforms.
