Paramount+ has acquired U.S. and select international rights to three scripted television shows from A24, the companies confirmed. The deal covers It Gets Worse, Major Players, and The Ministry of Time, according to Deadline.
It Gets Worse will debut as a Showtime original on Paramount+ in November. The series stars and is executive produced by Leo Reich, with Emily Fairn, Olive Gray, Sean Delaney, Dane Williams, India Mullen, and John Tothill in the main cast. Andrew Scot, Lena Dunham, and Amelia Dimoldenberg are set to make guest appearances.
Major Players is created by Molly Manning Walker and Yasmin Joseph. A sneak preview of the show was screened at Series Mania earlier this year.
The Ministry of Time is a six-part BBC fantasy series adapted by Alice Birch from Kaliane Bradley's book, with Aneil Karia as lead director. It stars Aoife Hinds and Billy Howle.
