Playhouse Post Opens 12,000 Sq Ft Facility on Noel Street

Playhouse Post has opened a 12,000 sq ft post-production site in London's West End, with Kim Bartley's Lemonade the first feature finished there.

Playhouse Post has officially opened a 12,000 sq ft post-production facility on Noel Street in London's West End, the company said. The site offers newly refurbished cutting rooms and end-to-end post-production services.

The Noel Street building houses a 4K theatrical grading theater, two Dolby Vision 4K HDR grading suites, two 4K HDR Flame suites, three finishing rooms and three refurbished Pro Tools studios.

Kim Bartley's Lemonade was the first feature to complete post-production at Playhouse Post. The film was financed by Playhouse Studios, according to Deadline.

The opening follows a period of consolidation for the company. Playhouse bought the assets of Halo Post, which had gone into administration, and took over the Noel Street facility. Those assets were then merged with those of LipSync, another British post house that also entered administration, leading to the launch of Playhouse Post.

Playhouse had previously expanded with a Belfast office, led by Martin Brennan as Director of Playhouse Northern Ireland and Janine Cobain as Head of Production.
