Ray-Ban Unveils Marvel Sunglasses Ahead of Avengers: Doomsday

The Aviator and Wayfarer designs carry Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom and Deadpool color schemes, and the Deadpool pair has stirred casting speculation.

Ray-Ban has released a Marvel collaboration line of sunglasses ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, according to comingsoon.net. The collection includes new Aviator and Wayfarer designs carrying the logos and color schemes of MCU characters such as Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom and Deadpool.

Deadpool is among the characters featured on the eyewear even though he and Spider-Man are not part of the official cast lineup for Avengers: Doomsday. The Deadpool design has led fans to speculate that Ryan Reynolds, who plays the character, may appear in the film.

Reports on whether Reynolds will star in Avengers: Doomsday have been conflicting. Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, have made several promotional appearances together, fueling rumors that the pair might return as Deadpool and Wolverine.

Deadpool's long run on screen

Reynolds first played Wade Wilson in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He led the 2016 Deadpool spin-off and returned for Deadpool 2 in 2018. Deadpool & Wolverine, released in 2024, is the only film in the series set in Disney's MCU.

Reynolds also appeared as Deadpool in the 2017 short film No Good Deed and the 2021 promotional special Deadpool and Korg React.
