Skydance Co-Chairs to Oversee Warner Bros. 2027-2029 Slate

Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein, named Co-Chairs of Skydance Pictures, will oversee Warner Bros.' theatrical releases from 2027 through 2029.

Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein have been named Co-Chairs of Skydance Pictures, and they will oversee the upcoming Warner Bros. theatrical slates for 2027 through 2029, according to Deadline.

At Tuesday's Day One Skydance presser, David Ellison said the combined studio plans a pro-forma content spend of over $30 billion annually. He also said the merged company carries $79 billion in net debt.

Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures will operate as separate studios under Jesse Ehrman and Mike Ireland respectively. Ynon Kriez said the plan is to keep the studios independent creatively while coordinating release schedules by genre and audience demographic.

Background

Goldberg and Greenstein arrived at Paramount in the late summer of 2025, where the R-Rated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin did not move to a greenlight and a new live-action TMNT feature aimed at families is in the works. In June 2022, Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy arrived at Warner Bros., during which Batgirl was shelved and Coyote vs. Acme was written down and sold by WBD CEO David Zaslav.
