SXSW London will hold its 2027 edition from 24–29 May 2027 under the theme "The Power of Human Potential," the festival announced. The conference programme for that edition will be organised into 14 thematic tracks.
The tracks named in the announcement include AI & Experience, Frontier Technologies, Health & Longevity, Society Rewired, Future Earth and Sports. Katy Arnander is Chief Programming Officer at SXSW London.
The 2026 edition drew more than 20,000 festivalgoers and hosted 863 speakers, among them Michelle Obama, the Russo brothers and Neon founder Tom Quinn. Past speakers also include Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Demis Hassabis, Esther Perel, Idris Elba and the late Dr Jane Goodall, according to Deadline.
The screen strand hosted 100 screenings in 2026, including the UK premiere of Sex and Death in Camp Miasma and the world premieres of the animated series Get Jiro and the feature film Savage House. The 2026 music programme featured performances by Rachel Chinouriri, Tiwa Savage, Shame, Pete Tong and Gilles Peterson.
