TAICCA-Backed Funds Unveil Slate at TCCF, With 'Our Blues' Set for Netflix

Four content funds jointly established by TAICCA and local companies presented their projects at a TCCF showcase, including a Taiwanese remake of CJ ENM's Our Blues.

Four content funds jointly established by TAICCA and local companies presented the projects they have backed at a TCCF showcase on November 8, according to deadline.com. The funds span premium co-productions, kids content, transmedia and IP investment, and cultural and creative equity.

Enjoy Entertainment, the premium content and co-production fund, has made 15 investments since its launch one year ago. Its slate includes Our Blues, a Taiwanese remake of CJ ENM's Korean series, which will premiere on Netflix on December 3. The fund also backed the horror film The Rope Curse 4: Kuntilanak, which has grossed $2.5M (NTD80M) in Taiwan theatres and has been released in Malaysia and Indonesia, with Cambodia to follow.

Enjoy Entertainment's other investments include the ID Music Festival, the musicals Her Voice and Don't Cry Dancing Girls, and an immersive exhibition by illustrator Jimmy Liao.

Kids content and Japanese drama

The Momomini Kids Content Fund has made six investments over the past year. Its slate includes the animated shows Who's Our Sub Today and Feifei, the live-action Mogu & Perol with France's Zephyr, and the reality series Having Fun In The Mountains. Momomini also backed the kids drama Hello Mr President, which has finished shooting and will air from January next year.

Joint Journey Creative has invested in the production committee for multiple seasons of the Japanese drama Midnight Diner, including season six, and has run talent incubator programs, among them a romance drama series workshop linking Taiwanese talent with Korean and Japanese producers. The Chunghwa Digital Cultural and Creative Fund, which has capital of around $30M (NTD1BN), is making equity investments into Damou Entertainment and Horiza Creations.

Joint Journey Creative was founded in 2025 as a joint venture between SET Group, TAICCA, Chunghwa Telecom and Japan's The Far Eastern TV Entertainment. The Chunghwa Digital Cultural and Creative Fund was jointly established by TAICCA, Chunghwa Telecom and E.Sun Bank, and Enjoy Entertainment was established by TAICCA, Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) and Far Reach Entertainment.
