Ted Lasso Co-Creator Says Roy Kent Exit Doesn't Mean Brett Goldstein Is Leaving

Brendan Hunt says Brett Goldstein's Roy Kent leaving the storyline does not necessarily mean the actor is exiting the show, and there's "no expectation of losing Roy and Keeley."

Ted Lasso co-creator Brendan Hunt has addressed whether Brett Goldstein is leaving the show after Roy Kent's departure from the storyline in the Season 4 finale. In an interview with Deadline, Hunt said Goldstein's exit from the storyline does not necessarily mean the actor is leaving the series, according to comingsoon.net.

Hunt also said there is "no expectation of losing Roy and Keeley." He added that the show has no idea whether it is coming back, or what will be going on in the characters' lives when it does. Apple TV has not yet officially renewed Ted Lasso for a fifth season.
