Dominic West said in a new interview that The Agency season 3 appears to have been delayed, though he is unsure of the reason, according to Screen Rant. West also expressed hope that there will be more episodes of the series.
The comments are the latest word on the Paramount+ spy thriller's future. Paramount has not directly confirmed a third-season renewal, and an industry analysis previously listed the show among Paramount+ Originals slated to return.
The Agency debuted in late 2024 to headline-grabbing viewership, and its second season was released in a quiet binge drop in summer 2025.
The series is based on the French drama Le Bureau des Légendes and was created by Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth. It stars Michael Fassbender.
The uncertainty around a third season comes as Paramount merged with Warner Bros. under David Ellison's Skydance, a move that brought executive changes including Cindy Holland's exit and Casey Bloys taking over streaming for both HBO Max and Paramount.
