The Rainmaker Season 2 Clip Shows Victor's Juvenile Hall Reason

A Collider sneak peek of Episode 2 shows Chuck Lawson telling Rudy Baylor why Victor was sent to juvenile hall, and who paid him.

Collider exclusively released a sneak peek at Episode 2 of The Rainmaker Season 2, in which Chuck Lawson gives his account of why Victor was sent to juvenile hall.

In the clip, Sarah Plankmore blocks Rudy Baylor's attempt to have Dot Black appointed as Victor's guardian ad litem, and instead has Victor's stepfather Chuck Lawson speak on the boy's behalf.

Under questioning from Rudy, Chuck Lawson says Victor was sent to juvenile hall for changing his and his friends' grades at school, not for a prank. He says Victor distracted the school by playing a video on all the monitors and was paid for the job.

Season 2 of The Rainmaker premiered on USA Network the week before the clip was released, in October 2026. Season 1 drew 16 million total viewers and was USA Network's biggest series launch in seven years, according to Collider.

Season 2 begins after Rudy Baylor's victory over Leo Drummond in the Great Benefit case. The series adapts John Grisham's novel.
