Netflix Sets Back-to-Back Seasons 2 and 3 for The Trauma Code
Most of the main cast return, including Ju Ji-hoon, but the role of nurse Cheon Jang-mi has been recast with Jeong Ye-in.
Netflix will produce seasons 2 and 3 of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call back-to-back, the streaming service announced in a YouTube post on October 19, according to screenrant.com. No release date has been set for either season.
Most of the main cast are returning. Ju Ji-hoon leads as Baek Kang-hyuk, with Choo Young-woo as Yang Jae-won, Yoon Kyung-ho as Han Yu-rim and Jung Jae-kwang as Park Gyeong-won.
One role is changing hands: Jeong Ye-in takes over as nurse Cheon Jang-mi, a part played in the first season by Ha Young.
Two seasons, one production run
Producing the two seasons together means the series will shoot its next installments as a single block rather than waiting on a separate renewal between them.
Season 1 of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call ran for eight episodes and was released in 2025. Netflix confirmed the renewal nearly two years after that first season debuted.
