Tony Robinson Launches History YouTube Channel With Radar Studios
Radar Studios is teaming with Tony Robinson on a YouTube channel, Tony Robinson Rewrites History, plus a six-part TV series debuting at MIPCOM Cannes.
Radar Studios is teaming with Tony Robinson for a suite of history content, led by a new YouTube channel. Tony Robinson Rewrites History will launch later this year with an initial 12 half-hour episodes.
The partnership extends a long relationship: Robinson has worked with WTFN Group for more than 15 years on shows including Tony Robinson's Time Walks and Tony Robinson's Tour of Duty. Radar Studios was formed when WTFN merged its digital arm Radar with its distribution business Fred Media.
Alongside the YouTube launch, Radar Studios will debut a six-part, hour-long TV series to international buyers at MIPCOM Cannes next month. The series features Robinson revisiting defining historical events and exploring alternative outcomes, ranging from the Spanish Armada to the advent of Covid-19.
