Toy Story 5 Hits 20 Million Views in First Five Days on Disney+

Toy Story 5 drew 20 million views globally in its first five days on Disney+, according to Disney figures. The animated sequel was the most-watched film on the platform during its premiere week and ranked among the top 10 theatrical film premieres on Disney+ globally to date.

The streaming debut follows a strong theatrical run. Toy Story 5 crossed $1 billion at the global box office this summer, and the five films in the franchise have now passed $4 billion in combined theatrical grosses.

Disney+ has become a second home for the series. Toy Story is the most-watched film franchise on the platform, with more than two billion hours streamed globally, and the first four features consistently rank among Disney+'s 20 most-watched movies each year. Since the first Toy Story 5 teaser was released, the films have logged an additional 168 million hours of viewing.

The franchise's reach extends well beyond screens. Toy Story generates more than $1 billion in annual global retail sales, and Disney estimates the series has produced more than $50 billion in total worldwide economic impact since the original Toy Story debuted in 1995.
