MBC Studios Sets November 19 Release for Traveller's Hell

Psychological thriller adapted from Osamah Almuslim's best-selling novel will open in Saudi cinemas before expanding to other Arab cities.

MBC Studios has announced a November 19 theatrical release for Traveller's Hell, a psychological thriller adapted from Osamah Almuslim's best-selling novel of the same name. The release will begin in Saudi cinemas, with rollouts to additional Arab cities to be announced in the coming weeks.

Almuslim wrote the screenplay for the film, which marks the first feature directing credit for Saudi director Hana Alomair. The cast includes Adwa Bader, Basil Alsole, Mohammed Ali, Shojaat Nashat, and Aziz Gharbawi.

The film was shot on location across Saudi Arabia.

More than two years ago, MBC Studios announced a strategic partnership with Almuslim to adapt several of his literary works into film and television projects. Alomair previously co-wrote and directed Whispers, one of Netflix's first original series with Saudi Arabia, following the country opening up in 2017.
