Tribeny Rai is developing a new project with the working title A Chronicle of Minor Things, announced as part of the Asian Project Market at the Busan International Film Festival's Asian Contents & Film Market, according to Variety.

The script, currently in development, centers on two villages disputing jurisdiction over the spot where a 15-year-old girl died, hanging from a tree rooted in one village with a branch extending over the other.

The team hopes to find co-producers and financiers for the project at the APM.

Follow-up to 'Shape of Momo'

Rai's debut, Shape of Momo, premiered at Busan in 2025, where it won the Songwon Vision Award and the Taipei Film Commission Award. It later took the Golden Royal Bengal Tiger Award at the Kolkata International Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles.
