UTA and Gold House Partner to Link Asian Creatives With Hollywood

The partnership launches at the Busan International Film Festival with a UTA x Gold House x Variety Industry Night on Oct. 9, followed by events in Seoul.

UTA and Gold House announced a partnership to connect Asian creatives and investors with Hollywood, with the collaboration launching at the Busan International Film Festival and continuing in Seoul in October 2026.

The partnership opens with the UTA x Gold House x Variety Industry Night at the Park Hyatt on Oct. 9, according to Variety. UTA and Gold House will then host a panel titled 'Hollywood & the Asian Diaspora' at the Asian Contents & Film Market on Oct. 10.

The partners will close the Korea events with a speakeasy party in Seoul on Oct. 13 for cross-cultural creatives, funders and founders, marking Gold House's first official foray into Korea.

Until now, Gold House's formal footprint in Asia had been limited to Singapore and Taiwan. The organization launched Gold House Studios, its in-house production arm, this year.

UTA has worked in Asia, particularly Korea and Japan, for several years. Christine Yi and Daniel Suh made an exploratory trip to Korea around this time last year to meet people in the local industry.
