Vault Comics to Launch Ongoing Dungeon Crawler Carl Comic in January 2027
The series serializes the existing webtoon adaptation, with Tevagah writing and Nathan Gooden on main covers.
Vault Comics will publish an ongoing Dungeon Crawler Carl comic series, with the first issue set for release in January 2027. The debut issue will be double-sized at 48 pages.
The comic serializes the existing webtoon adaptation of the series. Tevagah remains the writer, and Laurel Pursuit Studios provides the artwork. Kuzomari joins to help adapt the art to the larger comic-book format.
Nathan Gooden will provide the main covers, with variant covers also planned. The announcement was reported by Variety.
The comic follows Matt Dinniman's book series of the same name. In October 2025, at New York Comic Con, Universal Global Television scripted series chief Kelsey Balance said shooting on a TV adaptation could begin as early as next year.
Dinniman's most recent Dungeon Crawler Carl book was released this year. He is working on the ninth book, currently called The Beautiful Place, with no release date set; he has shared its prologue and early chapters. The series also has a tabletop RPG.
