VisionQuest Showrunner Terry Matalas Open to More Marvel Work

Terry Matalas says he would love to make something like Avengers: The Children's Crusade, but nothing of the sort is currently in the works.

Terry Matalas, showrunner of VisionQuest, said he would be open to continuing with Marvel Studios on projects beyond the series, including something in the vein of Avengers: The Children's Crusade, according to an interview with ScreenRant. Matalas noted that nothing along those lines is currently in the works.

"I would love to make something like that if the rest of the family could come along," Matalas said, referring to the possibility that the Maximoff family, and possibly Ultron, could be part of such a project. He added that Vision, Ultron and the Maximoff family are part of his DNA now.

When asked directly about Avengers: The Children's Crusade, Matalas said the decision rests with Kevin Feige, the Marvel Studios executive. Matalas also said he would love to keep working within the Marvel Studios sandbox after VisionQuest.

VisionQuest is the third and final installment in the WandaVision trilogy. The series is described as nearing the end of a chapter of Marvel Studios' TV adventures in 2026. Matalas previously worked as a creative on Star Trek: Picard.
