New VisionQuest Trailer Shows James Spader's Ultron Return

Marvel Studios released a new trailer for VisionQuest that combines behind-the-scenes featurette footage with scenes set within the series' universe, according to comingsoon.net. The trailer also placed the show's Disney+ premiere on October 14, 2026.

James Spader returns as Ultron in the series. In the trailer, Spader describes how the return "really started with a voiceover" and adds, "ten years later, here I am." He calls this version of Ultron "older and wiser."

The footage shows Ultron attempting to manipulate Vision and challenging his understanding of reality. "You are blind, Vision, to almost everything, including the truth," Ultron tells him, and later says, "I'm going to finish what I started all those years ago." He also warns, "I'll just be here watching the world burn."

The trailer presents Ultron with a new avatar, which he explains to E.D.I.T.H. simply "suits me."

Spader previously played Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Paul Bettany stars as Vision in VisionQuest, continuing the character's story from WandaVision.
