Debicki said she turned bright red when she first saw Skarsgård in his full Wicker costume in Budapest. The wicker prosthetics were made by Wētā Workshop and molded from Skarsgård's physique.
Skarsgård spent just under two hours each day putting on the suit. Wicker is a fantasy romantic comedy directed by Eleanor Wilson and Alex Huston Fischer and also starring Peter Dinklage.
According to background details shared by the cast, Wētā Workshop molded the prosthetics from Skarsgård's actual physique over 18 months. Colman said the cast had been looking at costume images for about 18 months before seeing the suit in person.
