Wuthering Heights Arrives on Prime Video
The film adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel is now streaming on Prime Video, after a theatrical run that began in February 2026.
Wuthering Heights became officially available to watch on Prime Video on October 2, 2026, according to Collider. The film adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel had previously been playing in theaters.
The movie opened in theaters a day before Valentine's Day 2026. It went on to gross $241.7 million worldwide against an $80 million budget.
Upon release, the film drew criticism for what was described as an unfaithful reimagining of Brontë's 1847 novel. Points of contention included the casting of Heathcliff, the character's romanticized portrayal, and major plot omissions.
The controversy also pushed the novel to the top of the Goodreads most-read classics chart.
